Southridge shelter is a co-ed homeless shelter, open year-round. The men's dorm has 27 beds, and is on a separate floor from the 8 beds for women. Each dorm has several showers and washroom facilities for residents. We serve three meals daily, and work to ensure that the food is nutricious and delicious.
We provide support to our residents by partnering with experts, including Ontario Works, Niagara Health System, and Housing Help.
We strive to offer more than beds and meals to the residents of Southridge shelter. That's why we structure our programs around a lifestyle that we believe can effect life change.

An interactive 3-hour training experience that will help all shelter volunteers to understand and overcome some of the challenges of serving at the shelter. If you are in your first year of volunteering, this training is essential to your involvement in the community here!
