Privacy Policy

Southridge is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

We only collect information from you. Southridge will not collect or record personal information about you except that which is provided directly by you or a member of your household.

We only collect information we need. Southridge collects and records personal information used for the purposes of church membership, participation in church programs, and for ongoing communication. Where applicable, and with prior consent, Southridge collects and transfers personal information for the purposes of providing and arranging social assistance. We respect your your privacy by asking for information as it is needed, relevant to your current involvement.

We protect your personal information. Southridge stores personal records in secure ways to prevent unauthorized access. We will not disclose personal information to third parties. All employees and volunteers with authorized access to these records as required by their jobs, will act in ways that respect and preserve the integrity and privacy of your information.

We respect your rights.  You have the rights:

  • to ask if we are keeping any personal information about you, and to see that information;
  • to know how we collected that information;
  • to know how it is being used; and
  • to know to whom it may have been disclosed;
  • to request correction or removal of your information from our records; and
  • to voice concerns about any privacy-related incident you experience with Southridge.
