Kris and Laurie Warkentin, along with their two boys, will be moving to Zambia this coming summer to spend 2-3 years developing several community projects. They will oversee the installation of a new water pump for the community in addition to managing the startup of two community development programs to serve children affected by HIV/AIDS. At the same time, they will be providing leadership development and training for staff and volunteers at several NGOs as they help to empower families living in poverty.

On Sunday, May 27 they will be hosting a golf tournament at Rockway Glen Golf Course to help raise funds toward their expenses in Zambia. The tournament will include 18 holes of golf (including cart), dinner and door prizes.
