If you've been around Southridge for the past few months, I'm sure you've heard about our renovation project in Vineland in preparation for our upcoming location launch. In fact, you may have seen the articles in the last issue of Southridge Magazine talking about our partnership with VMB to launch this location together.
Well, we're already in the planning stages of our next magazine, and as our Vineland facility project is nearing completion I want to put together an article about how God has been at work throughout this project.
Here's where you come in...
There are tons of people who have been a part of this project in so many different ways -- some of them big and others seemingly smaller -- but all of them tremendously significant. You may have helped at one (or many) of our volunteer shifts, or brought snacks to people on site, or served as a contractor or tradesperson, and/or you may be contributing financially as part of the larger Southridge church family. Either way, what I want to know is:
How have you seen God most at work in this project - in you and in others?
There's little doubt that there is a massive God-story to tell in the midst of this project, and I believe the most significant story is how He has impacted the lives of people, and that's the story you can help me tell. What new relationships were formed? Where has your faith been tested? When did you see God come through? How has this experience changed you?
So I invite you to contribute a few thoughts by commenting on this post, or emailing me at jmartens@southridge.cc and my hope is to put together a collage of stories from the members of our church family who have been a part of what He is doing in Vineland. Let's get telling!
P.S. If you haven't had a chance to be a part of this project, find out how by clicking here. And then come back and add your God-story! :)
