When it comes to the church, what would be your child’s perspective?  Is the church just a building we frequent once a week, or is the church comprised of people who make up the family of God, wanting to live their entire lives full out Him?  It would be interesting to have this conversation with your child.   Try to unpack that with them…………that’s what we intend to do over the next three Sundays in our Follow You series, looking specifically at what it means to be “Devoted to His House”.  Some of the big ideas we hope children will embrace in these weeks include: 

• The church is all about God and people.
• Every person has a part to play in the body of Christ.
• My life will grow as I am planted in God’s House.

Ultimately, we want our kids see that coming together as the body of Christ is an important part of learning what it means to be an ambassador for Him.  Giving kids the tools to be effective ambassadors means helping them to understand what it means to be His hands and feet …..when we do, we help kids develop a healthy perspective of the Church.
