If you attend one of our portable locations in Welland or North End, you are probably aware that we are unable to use our regular facilities at Centennial and Governor Simcoe Secondary Schools for the months of July and August due to maintenance and repairs that will be taking place.
However, you may not yet have heard our alternative summer plans for these locations. So, here you go:

In conjunction with the launch of our new Vineland site, our Glenridge location will be moving to a single Sunday morning service at 10:00AM starting on Sunday, April 15th. This change will sync all four of our locations on the same Sunday morning schedule.
We are excited about the opportunity for our Glenridge community to come together as one location-specific church family to worship and serve on a Sunday morning!

If you've been around Southridge for the past few months, I'm sure you've heard about our renovation project in Vineland in preparation for our upcoming location launch. In fact, you may have seen the articles in the last issue of Southridge Magazine talking about our partnership with VMB to launch this location together.
Well, we're already in the planning stages of our next magazine, and as our Vineland facility project is nearing completion I want to put together an article about how God has been at work throughout this project.

If you aren't already aware, this Sunday, March 11 marks the beginning of daylight savings time meaning our clocks will spring ahead by one hour at 2:00am on Sunday morning.
We just wanted to provide a helpful reminder to our entire church community to ensure that everyone not only makes it to the service on time, but also so that our volunteers are sure to set their alarms accordingly and spring out of bed ready to serve!
And in exchange for losing an hour of sleep on the weekend, why not use the extra hour of sun light on Sunday …

When you shop at Zehr's, we invite you to hold on to your cash register receipts in order to help support one of our partners in ministy, Camp Crossroads. Camp Crossroads uses these receipts in a way where they are actually able to raise money to annually replace waterfront equipment (i.e. lifejackets, paddles, etc.).

These are the sights, sounds, and smells that I experienced tonight as I walked through the renovation at our Vineland location. It's absolutely unbelievable to see how much work has been accomplished during the last 4 weeks thanks to many volunteers and trades people from our church community contributing their time.

Tonight we will host our third and final budget development input meeting for the 2012 Operating Budget in preparation for our Annual General Meeting happening this Sunday night. So far in the process we have had two previous input meetings reviewing last year's budget and year end results, and discussing this year's plans and projections.
