ABOUT THIS SERIES

Many people see Christians as boring, old-fashioned and out of touch with reality. To those outside the church, we appear to have our own friends, our own language, our own sports leagues, and even our own Christianized versions of things like Facebook and Twitter. In trying to separate ourselves from worldly evils, have we completely disconnected ourselves from those outside the church? What would it take to burst our bubble?

Gandhi is often quoted as having said, "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Unfortunately, our world is full of Christians who, despite their best intentions, misrepresent the heart of God with their words and actions. Have we become our own worst enemy? Might we be the very thing that is standing between Jesus and the world He loved enough to die for?
