Christians talk about hating sin and loving sinners, but the way they go about things, they might as well call it what it is. They hate the sin AND the sinner. What's ironic is that most Christians behave no better than non-Christians, despite their judgmental attitudes. This hypocrisy causes many to wonder where is the Christ in our Christianity.

Gandhi is often quoted as having said, "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Unfortunately, our world is full of Christians who, despite their best intentions, misrepresent the heart of God with their words and actions. Have we become our own worst enemy? Might we be the very thing that is standing between Jesus and the world He loved enough to die for?
