Prayer is a critical part of our relationship with God. However, it is also a very misunderstood practice. Many of us treat God like an eternal pinata ready to drop candy out of the sky, if we bother Him long enough about our wants and desires. Others tend to treat Him as a sky fairy that can magically wave a wand and make miracles happen, if we say the magic words. Still others pretend that God is a genie in a bottle that only grants three wishes, so we better ask just right. Is this what prayer really is, or is there more?

What is R!OT?

The R!OT is serious FUN: serious about the things of God, and having a R!OT doing it!

The R!OT (Reaching In and Out Together) is a community of friends for students who are currently in Grades 6-8 (11-13 years old).

We meet every Sunday during the 10 am service at each of our locations (Glenridge, Vineland & Welland). R!OT also gets together every other Thursday from 7-9 pm at the following locations:

St. Catharines - Southridge (Glenridge Location) - 201 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines
Vineland - Upper Deck - 3446 Rittenhouse Road, Vineland
Welland - Rose City Kids - 97-99 East Main Street, Welland

On Sundays we'll hear and talk about the same themes that are going on in the Auditorium, but in a youth friendly way! For our midweek events we pull out all the stops and have great activities and spend some time connecting in smaller groups with really cool leaders! In all that we do, we want to learn to love God and each other, with all that we have, more and more each week!
