From November 6-11, we will be exploring the issues related to our global anchor cause of Child Survival through this first-hand experience. We will spend time in the Andes of Ecuador to meet face-to-face with the children and families whose lives are being changed through the investment of Southridge.

We have partnered with Compassion Canada to begin a Child Survival Program in Cuarto Lote, Ecuador. Cuarto Lote is a rural community high in the Andes Mountains and the remote location means that even basic services aren't found there. The purpose of the trip is to begin to understand the issues related to poverty, to explore why Child Survival is such a critical focus in the developing world, and to work toward tangible ways that we can personally be involved in an ongoing basis.
